Boasting a 10.1-inch capacitive 1280 x 800-resolution display, the tablet packs cameras front (two-megapixel) and back (five-megapixel). Connectivity wise, the new Toshiba Android tab will conveniently come with full sized USB ports, HDMI ports, a mini USB port, a microSD card slot, an accelerometer and an ambient light sensor. There will no doubt be WiFi but we currently have no confirmation regarding the availability of 3G.
While pricing is yet to be confirmed, we can bet that Toshiba will be determined to squeeze the tablet somewhere relatively close within the iPad’s pricetag. From looking at the photos of the prototype received by Engadget, if this is so, then Android fans will be in for a treat.
