Beetel launches Magiq Android tablet for Rs 9,999

Hot on the wheels of RCom’s Rs 12,999 Android tablet, Beetel Teletech has launched the Magiq, a 7-inch tablet based on Android 2.2 aka Froyo. The tablet is 3G ready and is super economical at a price tag of Rs 9,999. It runs on a 1Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, has two 2.0 MP cameras, HDMI support and comes with inbuilt memory of 8GB which is upgradable up to 16GB. Though the tablet is not locked to any network but Airtel users will get 2GB of free 3G data usage each month for the next two months. But it comes with a caveat: the Magiq is not upgradeable to Android 2.3 Gingerbread. It is not available in the market at the moment and will be available soon.
