Remember Nokia Zeta? One of the four Nokia Symbian Belle powered handsets which were leaked online recently. Well we had seen some pictures of the handset but not the entire form factor, that is up until now.
We've just been sent another couple of images of this highly anticipated phone. No other information was provided to us about the first Symbian-powered Nokia device to feature a 1GHz processor though, so we'll leave that to your imagination.
The Finnish mobile phone manufacturer which had been synonymous to mobile phones in India has declined considerably in the last couple of years. The company is now gearing up to regain its market share in the affordable smartphone segment. While the competition is quite tough with both domestic and international players like Samsung, Sony Ericsson, Micromax, Spice among others launching a brand new and budget handset almost every month, Nokia's strategy is to entice mobile users with its high-end technical features wrapped in a affordable price range.
According to unconfirmed reports, Nokia hopes to take on the budget smartphone segment with the launch of its Symbian Belle powered handset Zeta aka Nokia 700soon. Sporting a 3.2 inch AMOLED display with an HD resolution of 640x360 pixels, the sturdy device comes with two camera's, a primary 5-megapixel camera and a secondary front facing VGA camera. The device is rumored to be powered by a 1GHz processor and is touted as the thinnest smartphone in the world. While so far there is no evidence to back this up, we hedge bet towards the processor rather the dimensions. The handset which comes in the dimensions of 110x51x10mm weighs a mere 80 grams comes integrated with NFC capabilities. With the advancement of the 3G technology it is quite obvious to find that the device is 3G enabled. Equipped with a 3G support for HSPA speed connectivity options through Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, the device offers a storage memory of 32 GB via micro SD card. The Nokia Zeta specs clearly are impressive and will find takers. What is important now is that Nokia prices Zeta correctly for that will be the key to its success in the already crowded budget smartphone market.
