I always wonder how gaming laptops accumulate the heat generated by heavy duty graphics card that often effect the game-play also as due to intense system heat.Sony Europe just gives a solution to this problem by introducing new VAIO Z notebook with an external graphics card powered with AMD Radeon HD 6650M with 1GB of VRAM and an optical drive that are fitted inside the external Power Media Dock. The VAIO Z notebook has a 13.1 inch bright LCD screen with a resolution of 1600 x 900 and embedded with dual-core 2.7GHz Core i7 processor that can supports 8GB of physical ram.Ultra fast storage is provided by dual 128 SSD drives configured in a RAID stripe, creating a combined 256GB drive. The Power Media Dock is connected to the notebook via Intel’s Light Peak technology and a USB 3.0 port and is capable of powering up to three displays using its other VGA and 3D capable HDMI port.ONce fully charged the VAIO Z can perform upto 7 hours and will start shipping in Europe during July.
