Sony Europe Unveils Vaio Z With External Graphics Card

I always wonder how gaming laptops accumulate the heat generated by heavy duty graphics card that often effect the game-play also as due to intense system heat.Sony Europe just gives a solution to this problem by introducing new VAIO Z notebook with an external graphics card powered with AMD Radeon HD 6650M with 1GB of VRAM and an optical drive that are fitted inside the  external Power Media Dock.The VAIO Z notebook has a 13.1 inch bright LCD screen with a resolution of 1600 x 900 and embedded with dual-core 2.7GHz Core i7 processor that can supports 8GB of physical ram.Ultra fast storage is provided by dual 128 SSD drives configured in a RAID stripe, creating a combined 256GB drive.The Power Media Dock is connected to the notebook via Intel’s Light Peak technology and a USB 3.0 port and is capable of powering up to three displays using its other VGA and 3D capable HDMI port.ONce fully charged the VAIO Z can perform upto 7 hours and will start shipping in Europe during July.
